Maso Finiguerra
Italian goldsmith, sculptor, and printmaker
Brief biography, in most instances from the Union List of Artist Names® Online:
Famous for his niello work and copper engraving. Although Vasari's assertion that Finiguerra invented copper engraving has been disproved, he was definitely one of the first artists to use this medium (Giorgio Vasari was a 16th-century biographer of artists).
Artist ID number in the Union List of Artist Names®: ULAN 500115289.
