George A. Tice
Brief biography, in most instances from the Union List of Artist Names® Online:
Tice served as a Photographer's Mate in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1959. From 1960 to 1969, he worked as a home portrait photographer in West Orange, New Jersey. Tice became a freelance photographer in 1969, and since 1970, he has been an instructor at the New School for Social Research, New York City, New York. In 1967, Tice documented the town of Paterson, New Jersey. He also produced a portfolio entitled "The Amish", illustrating Pennsylvania German country life in 1968.
