Edition: The set “Twelve Etchings from Nature,” known as the “French Set,” was published in 1858; in 1886, 200 impressions of plate were reissued for F. Wedmore’s “English Etchings” on old Whatman paper dated 1814; additional impressions were made on 17th century Dutch paper
