Provenance / Collectors' marks: Gufrey and monogram "N.F." inscribed in brown ink, verso; per Heinrich Schwarz notation on original DAC catalog card, the print was in the collection of a collector named Franz Schuster, not in Lugt.

The image depicts Lady Charlotte Duncombe, daughter of William, Earl of Dartmouth; she married Charles Duncombe, of Duncombe Park, York, in 1795.
