  Untitled (PP2096-72),

Monotype printed in water-soluble printing ink and casein from two woodblocks on Asian wove paper

The artist referred to this body of work as “print-painting” because he used acrylic paint for the design on the blocks, serving as a more permanent matrix than the usual transfer of ink in monotype; he then printed repeatedly, rubbing the same image by hand in varied colors.
