Print impression quality: Excellent

Edition: Restrike printed by Russell T. Limbach at the Davison Art Center in 1960 for Philip Hofer, who had acquired the plate in 1938; “Seven impressions were printed for Hofer. On this impression, Professor Limbach inscribed: ‘Only one of these printed (as a relief plate). Not a very good impression, but I didn’t want to impose any more wear on the plate.’”
