Print impression quality: Excellent
Edition: 6/20 plus 10 Artist’s Proofs and 3 Printer’s Proofs; chop mark lower left; printed by Ted Warner, Damage Press (Brooklyn, New York); published by Brooke Alexander Editions (New York). This is a later version of “Dead Rooster No. 4,” 1992–1993, printed in black as a benefit for MoMA in an edition of 100; PCN discusses black version “Untitled, 1992–93,” edition of 25, which must have preceded the MoMA edition of 100. The artist cut the block of African hardwood at her studio in New Mexico, using Swiss carving tools and a mallet.
