Medium and Support: Screenprint with tongue depressor (used to smear ink on wet impressions from the black screen) and supplementary screens printed in gold and red on cream wove paper
Edition: Edition size unknown (each impression unique because of artist’s handwork); printed by Floriano Vecchi at the Tiber Press, New York. The poster was for the purpose of advertising an exhibition, for which it has dates and the gallery’s address.
Marks: Signed and dated in pen and black ink along left side: “Elaine de Kooning ’57”
Provenance / Collectors' Marks: G. W. Einstein Company, Inc., New York, NY.
