And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword (Et il avait dans sa main droite sept etoiles, et de sa bouche sortait une epee aigue a deux tranchants)

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals (Puis je vis, dans la main droite de celui qui etait assis sur le trone, un livre ecrit dedans et dehors, scelle de sept sceaux)

And his name that sat on him was Death (Et celui qui etait monte dessus se nonmait la Mort)

And the angel took the censer (Puis l’ange prit l’encensoir)

And there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp (Et il tombe du ciel une grande etoile ardente)

A woman clothed with the sun (Une femme revetue du soleil)

And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, and he also having a sharp sickle (Et un autre ange sortit du temple qui est au ciel, ayant lui aussi une faucille tranchante)

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven (Et moi, Jean, je vis la sainte cite, la nouvelle Jerusalem, qui descendait du ciel, d’aupres de Dieu)

And I John saw these things, and heard them (C’est moi, Jean, qui ai vu et qui ai oui ces choses)
