Étiene Neurdein and his brother Antoine were partners in the firm Neurdein Frères in Paris, but it is not known when the firm was established. The active dates are believed to be ca. 1863-1912. Étiene photographed in Marseille, France ca. 1865 and three years later, he appeared in Paris producing historic portraits and views of France, Algeria, and Belgium. In 1889, Neurdein and his brother presented views at the Universal Exposition in Paris and won a gold medal. In 1891, they photographed in Switzerland. By the 1890s, Étiene dealt with administration and portraiture while Antoine travelled and photographed for the partnership. French photographer, active Paris.
