Medium and Support: Transfer lithograph on heavyweight Japan laid paper
Print impression quality: Very good; transfer paper; thin, vegetal, over textured surface
Edition: One of a few impressions printed in Paris, ca. 1894 (possibly by La Mercier); 100 impressions were published by Vollard in L'Album d'estampes originales de la Galerie Vollard (Paris, 1897), printed on Japan Paper, signed and numbered in pencil by August Clot.
Marks: Signed in pencil (in artist’s hand?), lower right: butterfly monogram; inscribed in image, center right: butterfly monogram
