In correspondence from Tony Rosati, 1/8/24: "Learning about Lessing Rosenwald’s interest in and connection to the DAC recalled a companion print to the L.J.R. portrait, a view of Alverthorpe Gallery. When I was asked to make the frontispiece print, I decided to concurrently create a print of both Lessing Rosenwald and a view of the Alverthorpe Gallery entrance. The Lessing portrait was to be the frontispiece. The Alverthorpe Gallery entrance view was never editioned, about 8 were printed as artist proofs; I gave one to each of my Alverthorpe colleagues and one is with the Rosenwald Collection at the Library of Congress."
